FAQ

RegistrationTime: 6:30 -7:30 a.m.

Location: Keeler Park, 93rd St. & Keeler in Oak Lawn

Parking: see map.

Restrooms: Portable restrooms will be available near registration and start/finish of race.

Participant Number: Please pin your participant number on the FRONT of your outer layer of clothing. This number must be visible at the finish line in order to be eligible for awards. Runners: In order to be timed correctly, please do not bend or fold your bib number and please use four pins when pinning.

Timing: This is a timed race for all runners. We will be using B-Tag timing. The chip will stay on your bib number. Please do not bend or fold your bib number in order to be timed correctly

Water Stations/First Aid: Water will be available along the course and the finish line. An ambulance will be on-site at the finish line.

Splits and Timing: Digital clocks will be at miles 1 & 2 with split times. Finish times will be displayed on digital clocks at the finish line.

Finish Line: Volunteers will have water at the finish line. After finishing we ask that everyone make their way back to the park for more refreshments and to watch the Kids Dash. If you wish to stay to cheer on fellow participants at the run, please stand on the street and not on the lawns.

Awards: The top three overall male and top three overall female winners, as well as the top three men and women in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & over. Awards will not be duplicated. Results will be posted at cararuns.org and active.com

Post Race Activities: Kids Dash, refreshments, music, and awards ceremony will take place following the run/walk in Keeler Park (93rd and Keeler), followed by an after party at Deja Brew in Oak Lawn (tickets can be purchased in advance).
