Thank you for being part of this year’s Running for Hope event!
After a year off for the birth and recovery of the newest member of Team Jasiu - we are back !!!
We want to once again give back to the hospital that gave us a chance at life for Jasiu ! This year our heart warrior turned 6 (a whole hand and one more according to Jasiu). We are so grateful for all we have received from Hope - Advocate Children's hospital - Medical expertise, compassion, a support group and so much hope and many lifelong friends. That's more than we could have ever dreamed of when we embarked on this journey.
Since we have been blessed with good fortune, it is time to give back and help fund raise for this wonderful cause. If you never needed the services of a children's hospital consider yourself sooo lucky and pray for continued health for your family and friends. Each day we pray for the health of Jasiu, his heart buddies and all of our healthy friends. I hope you do the same. If you feel you can help out with a donation, that's wonderful and we welcome it.
Thank you !
ALSO - OFFICIAL TEAM JASIU SHIRTS ARE STILL AVAILABLE IN A FEW SIZES - IF ENOUGH WILL BE INTERESTED I WILL SET UP AN ORDER. LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN A SHIRT.
Supporters like you are the heart and soul and true success of this great event. Running for Hope is all about bringing families and friends together to help raise money to benefit two great causes. 100% of the proceeds from this run goes directly back to the Ronald McDonald House® near Advocate Children’s Hospital and Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn.
These two beneficiaries impact the community in a positive way day in and day out. Advocate Children’s Hospital (ACH) is the largest network provider of pediatric services in Illinois and among the top 10 in the nation. The hospital is staffed by more than 400 pediatricians and 230 pediatric subspecialists who offer a wide range of specialized services for children. This year specifically, our funding will go to help benefit the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Division. Many families are affected by cancer every day, and unfortunately, some of those fighting the true fight are kids themselves. In honor of all those who have fought cancer, we will recognize National Cancer Survivors Day at our event.
